Experience/Education Required:
- High School Graduate or GED.Four (4) years experience in inventory control, tool crib operations or purchasing management.
- Four (4) years of leadership experience.
Position Purpose:
Under general supervision assist supervisor with coordinating all activities performed in the SC tool crib. Ensure compliance with all procedures, processes and policies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
1) In conjunction with Service Center Tool Crib Supervisor ensure toll crib goals and objectives are met.
2) Provide guidance as required. Maintain efficient and productive organization utilizing skills.
3) Assures that the department assignments are preformed with a high degree of professional competence.
4) Maintains follow up to assure that schedules, standards and assignments are achieved.
5) Report improvements, shortages, delays and damages to supervisor.
6) Ensure proper levels of stock and tools are maintained at all times.
Additional Functions:
1) Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
2) Comply with all company polices and safety regulations.
3) Work with subordinates to provide customers with tools and supplies needed to service aircraft.
4) Perform other duties as required.
Other Requirements:
1) Must possess strong organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to be creative and resourceful in dealing with constantly varying requirements and situations.
2) Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
3) Must be computer literate.
4) Must be able to work any shift.
5) Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, perform close tolerance work, work in small space and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
