Experience/Education Required:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 15 years of experience as an Aerospace Engineer or a related occupation.
- Must have experience in flight control system design, development, and integration.
- Must be proficient in AFHA, SFHA, FMEA, FTA, particular risk/common cause failure assessment.
The individual filling this position will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating important engineering projects; using advanced engineering techniques; modifying extension of theories to provide technical solutions to engineering problems; determining and developing engineering solutions within scheduled timeframe and project budget; directing and overseeing technical performance of other engineers; conceptual design and requirements development for the flight control system; performing aircraft and systems reliability and safety assessments, including AFHA, SFHA, FMEA, FTA, particular risk, and common cause failure assessments; serving as a technical expert within the Aerospace Engineering field by advising other engineers within the company and by keeping abreast of all developments within the field.
