Position Purpose: Under general supervision, receive and process all parts orders, supply written and verbal quotes, and parts availability to Gulfstream customers within the company established guidelines while achieving financial goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: 1) Receive and process over the counter requests for Gulfstream customers spare parts requirements.
2) Assist customers with the identification of part numbers for material requirements by utilizing Illustrated Parts Catalog, drawings, interchangeability data, and other information required to expedite material requirements.
3) Assist Repair Control with the coordination of exchange components.
4) Assist higher level Sales Representatives with the review of warranty claims.
5) Prepare shipping and sales documents for all material orders and ensure all orders are processed by the stockroom. Coordinate with shipping department to expedite shipment per customers requirements, and furnish customer with shipping data.
6) Assist logistic personnel and/or Sr. Sales Representatives in the processing and shipment of new Gulfstream operators initial provisioning orders.
7) Assisting with the training of lower level Sales Representatives.
8) Maintain current purchase orders, drop ship forms, follow-up documentation, terms that affect cash flow and documentation of changes.
Additional Functions: 1) Coordinate with Pricing department to ensure that all published prices are current and conform to company pricing policies.
2) Maintain complete and accurate records/files of all business transactions.
3) Process and document Notice of Exceptions (NOEs) in order to maintain proper cash flow levels.
4) Participate in rotating AOG duty. Ensure that customer inquiries are processed to meet customer expectations and company financial targets.
5) Perform other duties as required.
Other Requirements: 1) Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers. Ability to offer professional and expeditious assistance in high-pressure emergency situations.
2) Ability to operate PC and office equipment.
3) Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
4) Knowledge of supply procedures in a warehouse environment.
