Experience/Education Required:
- Bachelors degree in aviation science, a related aviation field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Ten yrs aviation experience, to include 4 yrs on any Gulfstream aircraft.
- Interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills.
- Computer literate (MS Office), Corridor preferred.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations preferred.
- Familiar with foreign cert reqmts.

Position Purpose:
Within the terms of the Gulfstream contracts and under the guidance of the Program Director, manage and direct the Gulfstream warranty team for all model aircraft in the administration of production and supplier labor recovery. Oversee and/or collaborate with the vendor recovery team for all warranties and provide training as required to all organizations, sites and Authorized Warranty Repair Facilities. Manage all costs that are posted to warranty accounts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
1) Manage warranty administration for all Gulfstream service centers, third party maintenance facilities and Authorized Warranty Repair Facilities for all model aircraft in accordance with established contracts. Oversee auditing process for customer satisfaction accounts to ensure correct authorizations and prepare reports for management review.

2) Manage recovery of labor costs from Israeli Aircraft Industries (IAI) and other suppliers for mid cabin warranty events at Gulfstream and AWRF sites to ensure maximum recovery cost. Direct Dispute Resolution Board with IAI and other vendors to ensure timely payment of warranty invoices and negotiate final resolution of all disputes to include withholding of payments.

3) Prepare warranty data for review by management and assist managers with warranty claims and customer requests/ complaints. Oversee the preparation of letters for all customers with newly delivered aircraft. Assist CPMs with the preparation of information for these customers.

4) Oversee and/or coordinate with the Product Support Material Vendor Recovery team to recover costs charged to warranty accounts for vendor supplied materials and components for all Gulfstream model aircraft. This includes production, final phase, spares and service warranties.

5) Manage existing Warranty Maintenance facility contracts and potential new business development in worldwide markets including contractual compliance, regulatory approval, and claims adjudication.

6) Manage warranty registrations to suppliers for installed production and completion equipment for Gulfstream aircraft. Manage all aircraft warranty assignments to transfer warranties to new owners working very closely with Gulfstream Legal as well as customer attorneys to affect a smooth and efficient transfer.

7) Manage and direct the financial responsibilities for charters; including bill backs to customers for the DOCs and provides management with reports on these activities.

Additional Functions:
1) Represent Warranty in supplier meetings and approve warranty language in contracts.

2) Member of internal quality and reliability management teams such as RQAAT, PCMT, SBMT, and CBMT. Review and approve all issues concerning warranty on Service Bulletins, Customer Bulletins and Aircraft Service Changes to include correct hours, warranty statements and ensure financial accountability.

3) Perform other duties as required.
