Experience/Education Required: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or technology-related field: or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Ten (10) years experience in information technology or related business area.
Position Purpose: Senior Information Technology (IT) trusted advisor to partners business division(s) Sr. Vice President(s) and senior staff. Responsible and accountable for all IT products and services delivered, and all IT support provided to partners business division(s). Strategic IT consultant to business leaders with respect to the application of information technology against continuous improvement objectives, opportunities and imperatives. Ensure customers perception of IT value and service is maintained at high levels through innovation and productivity.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: 1) Develops and maintains business relationships with key decision-makers in the partners business division to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives, goals and operating priorities.
2) Leads IT strategy formulation and business transformation in partners business division(s) as well as sponsoring IT projects for partners business division(s). Represent partners business division(s) by translating functional requirements into IT objectives, goals and strategies. Creates strategies to balance short-term requirements with long-range business plans
3) Directs the identification, definition, feasibility and implementation of cost-effective IT solutions for partners business division(s) objectives/issues. Ensure all delivered IT products and services successfully enable strategic business goals and objectives. Establish and govern IT project/work priorities.
4) Maintains a current knowledge of technology developments in related areas and evaluates impact on company objectives and systems. Makes recommendations to gain competitive advantage, improve efficiency, reduce cycle time or reduce costs.
5) Directs evaluation, selection and implementation of software packages, hardware platforms and supporting services and oversees the development of business case justification.
6) Ensures effective management of IT project costs for partners business division(s), as well as, overall labor costs of contract staff.
7) Communicates frequently with other IT senior management, partners business division(s) management, and solution providers to exchange information and resolve problems. Fosters an internal and/or external customer-focused environment
8) Identifies prospective technology vendors, directs vendor visits, and review vendor contracts.
Additional Functions: 1) Member of a governing body to set, and enforce adherence to, technical and departmental standards as well as corporate policies and procedures.
2) Participates in disaster recovery planning and capacity planning
3) Performs other duties as requiredA credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.
Other Requirements: 1) Requires a detailed understanding of program/project management processes and procedures. Formal project management desired; PMP and/or CPM certification preferred.
2) Business functional experience a plus.
3) Formal Management and/or Leadership training a plus.

Evaluates/provides input on staff performance and provides input to salary plans, departmental expense and capital budgets. Makes prudent decisions regarding significant expenditures.21) Provides direct and/or indirect supervisory management over IT staff. Manages approximately $5 - $10 million departmental budget. Responsible for million dollar plus information system implementation projects.2
2) Makes recommendations on decisions to hire, terminate or discipline; provides input into performance appraisals and makes other personnel decisions as necessary.
