Position Purpose: The Regional Sales Manager must develop and implement a sales territory that increases and supports an overall market sales growth in the area of responsibility for aircraft markets for Gulfstream.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: 1) Establish and maintain a professional customer relationship with all customers within assigned region.
2) Develop a timely reporting system to the Vice President that reflects a current sales overview of the region.
3) Keep the Vice President informed of competitive situations along with pro-active recommendations.
4) Takes the necessary action to maintain the sales expense budget.
5) Interfaces with the Pricing and Completions management to ensure proper and timely quotations.
6) Sees that all sales activities within the assigned region meet Gulfstreams company policies, procedures and administrative requirements.
Additional Functions: 1) Must be willing to travel extensively
2) Must be willing to relocate.
Unique Skills Required:
Experience/Education Required: - Operating Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesTraining & Education Requirements: HS/GED, Bachelors degree in related field preferred. - Private Pilot License preferred.Experience Requirements: Three (3) years experience in Sales, Marketing or Sales Support roles. - Strong aviation experience and knowledge essential. - Customer satisfaction aptitude and record of successful customer interaction required.
