Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Eight (8) years related field experience to include two (2) years of experience managing professional level employees or program management.

Position Purpose:
The Sr Mgr, Client and Channel Mgmt is responsible for the successful development and maintenance of internal client relationships across sales, product support, and government. This includes identifying and developing new opportunities, providing strategic consultation on business needs, managing marketing channel strategies, leveraging insights and opportunities identified by CRM lead, team mentoring, and ensuring strategic direction and quality of work.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions: 1. Maintains and develops senior client relationship for sales, product support and government 2. Valued as business and marketing counsel to senior clients; intimately understands client business and marketing challenges 3. Proactively drives strategic direction for the business with senior clients and marketing partners 4. Identifies opportunities for new marketing programs; marshals and delivers marketing resources against opportunities for shareholder value 5. Continually looks for “connective tissue” within client’s business, finding opportunities to bring together client groups for greater efficiency or impact 6. Partners with senior clients to establish overall scope and planning for each quarter 7. Partners with global insights and analytics to identify and define key measures of success 8. Leads the design of a shared client scorecard and manages regular/quarterly checkpoints with client 9. Leads strategy for advertising, email and direct marketing channels for delivering against approved marketing scope and customer development opportunities (identified by CRM lead) 10. Maps and leads action against relationship plans 11. Shaping and driving direction and activity on a client’s business; recognizes and advances big ideas 12. Acts as relationship and strategic lead in coordination with other marketing directors and senior managers 13. Informs and holds accountable marketing leaders for delivering against approved scope and development opportunities 14. Informs and involves marketing executive leadership. Manages Quarterly Business Reviews with marketing executive leadership and client 15. Leads and/or contributes to marketing presentations 16. Oversees responsibilities for ad revenue, expenses, and efficiencies within the client and channel marketing team 17. Sets tone for collaborative and respectful working relationships with clients and marketing as a whole 18. Ensures that career development plans are in place and are continually reviewed 19. Takes the leadership role in training, mentoring, providing continuous feedback, and conducting performance evaluations with direct reports 21. Assesses client needs by department and partners with QA and project management Perform other duties as assigned.

7. B2B client and global business experience is strongly preferred.
8. Able to demonstrate flexibility and creative problem solving. 9. Experience in communications planning, and ability to articulate examples of strategic recommendations.
10. Results oriented.
